Jeff Klotz’s entrepreneurial endeavors began while he was still in high school. While in school, Jeff started his first business in real estate. He started by purchasing single-family homes. It did not take long for Jeff to accumulate over 30 homes in his portfolio. This accomplishment was the first of many to come.

After finding early success in real estate, Jeff Klotz went on to acquire other companies that supported his real estate business. The companies Jeff acquired included construction and property management organizations. As his companies grew, Jeff Klotz hired 250 employees to help him manage his multi-family investments. His company was one of the fastest-growing businesses of 2000 in Jacksonville, Florida, and remains the third largest business there to lead the apartment industry.

In 1995, Jeff Klotz acquired NPI Services. NPI services later changed its name to the Klotz Group. The Klotz Group is a vertically integrated and comprehensive private equity real estate investment company. The Klotz Group is the parent organization for several subsidiaries. Some of the subsidiaries include Amvestar Capital, LLC, American Management Group of North Florida, LLC, Just Multifamily, LLC, Apartment Asset Advisors, LLC, TKC Construction Group, LLC, Rent Ready Fast, LLC, and Tierra Linda Development, LLC. The Klotz Group also owns many other companies that support the real estate investments of the organization.

The success of the Klotz Group has lead Jeff Klotz to be well-known as a successful real estate developer and investor. His investments have included 125,000 apartment units and 42 developments. His investments and developments span many states, including Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama. His investment holdings total over $1 billion, and his companies also employ over 1,000 people.
