Scott has been in the note business for awhile. He jumped into the market around 2005, when the market was less than ideal. Initially, he taught people how to do owner financing and to wrap their heads around mortgages. He also co-owned a mortgage company. For his company, 2004 to 2008 was primetime. Then everything turned on a dime; the music didn’t slow down so much as it got cut off immediately. Today, Scott will share his journey into the note-buying industry and drop a few nuggets of wisdom about how it works, and what aspiring note-buyers can expect from joining the business.
